Harvey Hinch, Board Member

Harvey is a retired chemical engineering professional with more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, automation, and process improvement. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and held several leadership roles during his career with Neville Chemical Company.

Harvey has extensive volunteer and board experience, including leadership roles with the International Society of Automation - Pittsburgh Section and other community organizations. He has volunteered with Restore 22 since 2024.

Through his family and his career, Harvey has had the opportunity to know and work alongside veterans from several branches of the military. He is deeply grateful to those who have served and protected our country and has long felt a responsibility to give back and be a good steward of the opportunities he has been given. After retiring, Harvey was praying about what might come next when he heard about the Restore 22 pop-up at Christ Church at Grove Farm. As someone who loves coffee and wanted to find a meaningful way to serve, he quickly became involved with Restore 22.

Harvey and his wife, Terri, have three children and four grandchildren.
