What started as a vision to create connection and community for veterans is becoming a reality. Soon, we’ll open the doors to Restore 22 Coffee Shop at 948 4th Avenue in Coraopolis — a welcoming space built for veterans and open to everyone in the community.
The coffee shop is more than a place to grab a cup of coffee. It’s a place for conversation, camaraderie, and connection, and an important part of how we’re working to reduce isolation among veterans.

As we prepare to open the Restore 22 Coffee Shop this summer, we're looking for volunteers who want to be part of something bigger than a cup of coffee. Every volunteer will help create a welcoming environment where veterans can connect, build relationships, and find community.
As a coffee shop volunteer, you will welcome guests, serve coffee and pastries, assist customers with purchases, support special events and gatherings, and help create a friendly atmosphere for veterans and visitors.
Volunteering at Restore 22 is about more than the tasks. It’s about being part of a place where a simple conversation over coffee can create a connection and veterans are welcomed and valued.
No coffee shop experience is required. We can teach you the skills. What matters most is a positive attitude and a desire to serve those who have served our country. If you have a few hours to give, we’d love to have you on the team.
